Waiver Information

You acknowledge that:

• You can safely step over a 22" ledge to get in and out of the float tank, as our staff is not trained to assist you in getting in or out of the tank. I assistance is required, please bring a helper.
• It is up to everyone to take caution to prevent slipping or falling as surfaces are very slippery due to the float solution.
• The room is cleaned between each session and the float tank solution is sanitized to meet or exceed the standards of the Flotation Tank Association.
• Flotation Therapy provides a deep state of relaxation that stimulates blood flow through all the body tissues & releases natural endorphins. Everyone will have a unique experience that may change from one visit to the next, as floatation therapy has been proven to have a cumulative effect.
• Our Float Pod uses ~1100 lbs and our open tank uses ~1750 lbs of Epsom Salt (U.S.P. Pharmaceutical grade Magnesium Sulfate), 
• Floating is frequently used by pregnant women to help alleviate body pain and discomfort, but as always, you should consult with your physician prior to floating.
• You must shower thoroughly, immediately before entering the float tank and have washed away all hair products, sweat, dirt, oils, creams, makeup, etc. on your body and hair.
• You have not had any type of hair color treatment or spray tan within the last two weeks, and are not bleeding and color from your hair or skin. 
• You have not used a tanning bed or suffered a severe sunburn within the last two weeks.
• YOU ARE NOT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. BLISS FLOAT HAS A ZERO INTOXICATION POLICY.
• You do not have any communicable or infectious disease, illness, or skin disorders, including open sores.
• You do not have any sort of existing ear, nose, or eye condition that may be irritated by epsom salts.
• If you are diabetic, have kidney disease, a history of heart trouble, epilepsy, seizures, or blackouts, or are being treated for cancer, you guarantee that the condition is medially under control, and have consulted with your medical professional(s) about using a flotation chamber., and that your medical professionals are aware of the flotation environment, and you have received their approval that it is safe to proceed for all floats, now and in the future.
• You do not have a condition which may be adversely affected by absorption of magnesium.
• You agree and understand, that you have consulted with your physician(s) prior to using the flotation tank if you are currently taking any medication or under a physicians care for any reason.
• You will not release bodily fluids, voluntarily or involuntarily, into the float solution.
• There is a $1,500 fee if the float tank is polluted via dyes, bodily fluids or other contaminates. 
• You are choosing to use the float tank of your own free will, and will not hold Bliss Float or its employees liable for health issues, injuries, or negligence.
