Floating is the art of complete weightlessness - an escape from gravity, noise, and light into a space where your body and mind can finally exhale. You step into a float tank - 10 inches of water infused with over 850 pounds of Epsom salt, perfectly heated to match your skin temperature. The salt makes you effortlessly buoyant, more so than the Dead Sea, while the quiet and darkness remove the world’s constant demands on your senses.


In this space, there’s no gravity, no touch, no sight - just you, suspended in stillness. The effect is a deep nervous system reset, reducing external noise so your body can focus on recovery, restoration, and balance.

Nothing. There is no sense of where your body ends and where the water begins. The water and air temperature are skin receptor neutral; about 93.4 degrees. Once the lights are off, you float in darkness, or you can leave the lights on if you wish. Your ears are just below the water surface and outside noises are minimal to none.


Floating in a sensory deprivation tank offers several potential benefits, including:

  • Severe Skin Conditions: Open wounds or skin infections can be aggravated by saltwater.
  • Epilepsy: Those with a history of seizures should consult a healthcare professional before floating.
  • Mobility issues: For your safety, you must be able to enter and exit the tank by yourself. If you need assistance, please bring a qualified caretaker or assistant with you to help you in and out of the tank.

Bacteria does not generally grow in highly salty (saline) waters.


The following measures are in place to ensure hygiene is maintained:


  • All users shower prior to entering the tank.
  • The entire salt water solution is filtered 3 times between float sessions.
  • Tanks are disinfected by using a combination of ultraviolet light and hydrogen peroxide.
  • Regular physical cleaning of the tank’s interior surfaces.
  • Severe Skin Conditions: Open wounds or skin infections can be aggravated by saltwater.
  • Epilepsy: Those with a history of seizures should consult a healthcare professional before floating.
